The pace of learning is not too fast and is probably going to be suitable for most people. The lesson topics and vocabulary covered are also practical and will be of immediate use. Previously in Italy I was limited to a few basic phrases relating to food and drink, but now the mystery of Italian verbs and adjectives is beginning to open up before me. This has already given me more confidence with the spoken language. Now all I need is for my health to improve sufficiently such that I can visit Italy again and practice on the locals. There is an emphasis on speaking but her sessions also cover listening, reading and writing. My kids have also learned a lot about Italian culture.
